In Module 1.2 Data Quality-Standards, we are introduced to determining the quality of road networks, determining the positional accuracy of multiple road networks, and understanding how to employ the procedures provided by the NSSDA, the National Standard for Spatial Data Accuracy.

Preparing to use the NSSDA horizontal accuracy table required the following steps:
1. Obtaining the testing maps as well as the photos that are geospatially prepared for use.
2. Determine reference points using the photos.
3. Determine test points using the testing maps.
4. Determine coordinates ( in feet) for all points obtained.
5. Create table using Excel in preparation for the data.
6. Export the data from the attribute table.
7. Import data into Excel and perform the necessary calculations to fill in the table.
Based on my findings in this lab, here are the accuracy assessments for both maps:
For Albuquerque Map:
Positional Accuracy: Compiled to meet 19.24 feet horizontal accuracy at 95% confidence level.
For Street Maps USA Map:
Positional Accuracy: Compiled to meet 284.04 feet horizontal accuracy at 95% confidence level.
